What is Parelli Natural Horsemanship ?

The Parelli method allows horse lovers at all levels and disciplines to achieve: success without force, partnership without dominance, teamwork without fear, willingness without intimidation, and harmony without coercion. Founded in 1981 by lifelong horseman and teacher Pat Parelli, the Parelli Program combines common sense psychology and communication. MARIAH'S REMINDERS

Sundance

Moderate LBI

Be as light as possible, but as FIRM as neccesary.

STOP insisting and start PROMISING!

Follow through, don't threaten more than 2 times.

Sundance needs a strong leader, worth following.

Bebe

Mild LBI/RBI

Be assertive, but not too much because of energy sensitivity.

Look for unconfidence in Bebe in everything you do.

Set the session up for success, HELP him feel confident.

Put pressure on slowly, release QUICKLY!

Be satisfiable, be accepting. (REWARD the SLIGHTEST try!)

Don't push him off a cliff, he needs someone he can trust.

Keep a low energy, phase 1 is usually all he needs.

My heart, how full it is! Full of many things, things of beauty I cannot explain. Full of dreams of the future, the hope of tomorrow and the promise of a wonderful life. My dreams of the future are beyond any can explain, like no other. A life full of happiness, adventure and hope for the future of others. Those others do not leave foot prints but hoof prints, hoof prints that never fade or wash away. My chest falls and rises to the hoof beats of my heart, hoof beats implanted by the others. Those others changed my life, and in return through my life I will change theirs.
